Sure you’ve heard of insulation – material, often derived from plastics, which helps maintain comfortable temperatures in buildings. But what about outsulation? Outsulation, a term coined at the 2011 Solar Decathlon, refers to a system of cellulose-filled batts fastened in layers on the roof and exterior walls of a structure.
