We really like having spoon rolls- with the eggs, using a plastic spoon to move an egg across the finish line- you can’t touch the spoon with your hands though! That’s hours of laughs.

We have used plasticware for years, especially when picnicking and for large holiday gatherings. It has been a long-standing tradition to encourage each person to write his/her name on a plastic cup (using a marker) so that cup won’t get mixed up with others’ and can be used for refills. Also, we have been known to save all the used platic tableware and wash it for reuse — hey, everybody needs to take recycling more seriously!! Of course, we also use plastic containers for leftovers and sometimes plastic tabelcoths, which we also save for other occasions. Plasticware is really a part of just about everyone”s life!!

I love getting together with friends and family in the summer. Plastics, I like the reusable kinds, make it so easy for me since I’ve been ill. I don’t get around too well now, and not having to worry about broken cups and storage containers, not to mention eating utensils makes the stress of lots of people at my home very low. I also love to use…now don’t laugh… plastic storage bins, the large, 1-2″ high ones, as drinking places for my tortoises. They are out and about during the summer, and having something for them to get their daily intake of water is imperative. That makes them happy, and the other animals happy too, because they also have different types of plastic-ware to eat and/or drink out of.
I run an animal rescue for horses, reptiles, birds, cats and exotics so plastic everything is very nice to have and makes clean up super easy. My dishwasher cleans the plastics with cold water and air dry so I know that the ‘people’ products are nice and clean. Animal dishes of course do NOT go in with the people dishes!! Animal plastics are washed by hand outside with a good scrubbing. Many of the reptiles, like my Monitor Lizard, never learned his manners, so he’s a messy eater.
Being able to reuse most of, and also recycle some of the plastics makes my life much easier. I love using plastics. Without them, I would be hard pressed to replace lots of broken things, and with the reusable plastics they will sometimes bend and not break. I like that. A lot.

However, I don’t like to be in the kitchen doing dishes on a nice day. Plastic plates and cups are our answer! I love to mix and match colors for a festive look and plastic plates are so much sturdier than the paper alternative.
I absolutely love plastic! Recently I opened a cabinet door and a bunch of my nice glass dishes came tumbling out and I had a massive pile of broken glass all over my kitchen floor. Plastic stacks well, is great for traveling with food, picnics. It is affordable and as fads and fashions change, it is not expensive to update your preference. Plastic is microwavable. We fix individual meals in plastic containers for the convenience of quick lunches. When sending food to friends and neighbors sometimes dishes do not come back. Where to start! Using plastic containers means no broken glass for the kiddo’s to step on (or their parents!) – using plastic allows me to add a lot of color to an event (if I choose those lovely, colorful, plastic containers that are available these days) – plastic helps make cleanup a breeze, since most plastic containers have lids, so any leftover foods can be easily covered and I’m not searching for some plastic wrap to cover items with, plus, should it become necessary, plastics are so affordable that if I need to just throw one away, I don’t feel so guilty about doing so!!! I can easily replace the item for my next get together – and finally, when taking a dish to a potluck, I don’t feel bad when I use a plastic container should I not receive the container back from my host! I know that they are getting to now use the container themselves and I have many more plastic containers at home to use for the next event!!! LOL….

When I throw a party, a get- together or even a fancy event, I love using plastics. My serving trays, bowls and utinsils and sometimes a centerpiece. They look elegant and I can even create a beautiful theme around them and then just roll everything up at one time to clean. They are so beautiful, I wash them for the next event. I even treat them like crystal and dare anyone to throw them away. LOL. But you know if they do, it’s ok. I may go behind them a pick it out of the trash. oops.. My secret!
convenience, variety, different theme with each get-together, and most of all more time to spend with family and friends.

We love the ease that plastics allow us when we use them. We even made a plastic Christmas tree out of cups and used forks and spoons along with knifes to decorate it. The kids loved it with all the colors we had. We have even used cups to make Easter baskets for the children, They are the best things for small children. Plastic allows us to not worry about little hands getting cut or even older hands getting cut as we would have to with glass. I never have to worry about any of the children mixing up drinks because we can write names on cups and have even wrote names on bowls and plates to ensure smaller kids don’t get confused on whose is who’s. To me plastic is the best ideal anyone has came up with since sliced bread.
We like to use matched sets of colors in plastic plates and cups not only for ‘fancy’ entertaining but also when the 6 grandchildren visit. They are easier to use than paper plates, clean up faster, and they don’t break like our regular placesettings could. Plus the bright colors can be changed for each special occasion – birthdays, celebrating great finds at a yard sale, or having a granny and grandpa date night.
I like to use plastic bowls, because with todays technology the lid are attached and easy to find.
I like plastic because it doesn’t break if you drop it. If you mix and match the colors you have a nice table setting. Hurrah for pastic.
Going green is the way to go.
I love using plastic cups and utensils because the clean up is so easy and I know I’m not going to hear the sound of breaking glass at any given moment… when we camp or just having friends over, plastic plates, cups and cutlery is always being used because of the convenience of plastic as well as a tradition that will never change… plastic is most def kid friendly and with three children thats what matters to me…
At any gathering we have or go to, we always use plastic. From containers to store the food in if were bringing, or containers to use for all leftovers. We use plastic utensils, this way if someone accidenttly throws it out, they do not have to feel bad about it, and the fun continues. We use plastic serving spoons and forks to put into our salads and to put on the plastic trays that might hold lunchmeat as an example. Plastic table covers are a biggie with us. One two, three the tables clean after the get together. No Hassel. The best is plastic plates and cups. When everyone is done and the shindig is over, walla, Plastic trash bags. And we try to buy recycleable products,if we can. Boy isn’t plastic geat!
I have 5 children, 7, 5, 4, 3, 9 mo. I avoid glass like the plague!
I love using plastics for outdoor parties and picnics because plastics are sturdier than paper party products, safer than glass, easy to clean up, light weight for packing on picnics and come in a wide array of bright and festive designs and colors. I live in the desert and do a lot of outdoor entertaining and everyone always enjoys my coordinated décor done with plastics, it just makes the party more fun.
Love all the fabulous colors, sizes and shapes for every occasion. I also like the fact that plastic is teenager friendly. Wonderful for a day at the beach, park or hiking in the mountains.
Plastic is a must around the pool, even plastic wine glasses. So much safer
Paper plates do not hold much weight. I can serve ribs with baked potatoes and veggies and not worry about the plastic plate falling apart
Clear plastic glasses are great for the grandkids and the adults too. Thank goodness we have plastics
Reusable plastic tableware makes for easy clean-up and I also don’t have to worry if someone drops a piece on our concrete patio because it won’t shatter.
With no dishwasher and a husband that works out of town 5 days a week! We live for all things plastic, from paper plates to plastic cups and most certainly plastic containers for left overs!!
It’s great being able to bring food to a party in a cute, inexpensive plastic bowl. Don’t have to worry if I will get my bowl back; I just let them keep it.
We always use colored plastic glasses on our pation so everyone knows which glass is there and we don’t have to worry about breakage.
I use plastice dishes and glasses outside so I don’t have to worry about breakage or about the kids getting cut on broken glass.
reusable plastic table accessories in my eyes are very festive and just automatically puts everyone into a relaxed informal mood; ready to have a good time!
I have 2 kids, and those kids have a ton of friends and cousins that live around us. A bbq means having around 15 kids at my house at any given time..actually, they can be at my house everyday to tell you the truth
Plastic cups and everything else make it so much easier to deal with than using my dishes and glasses..we had a bbq once and someone(my husband) forgot to buy plastic anything..needless to say, every dish and cup was in my sink. I was so depressed I left my kitchen like that for 2 days. he never forgot them again.
plastic bottles can be recycled into may things. carpet for in the house or the deck. they can be added to other types of plastic to make yard furniture. I’m not sure but i think they are also being used to make deck boards and the railings to protect everyone from falling of the edge. also used to make protective and decorative coverings for the main support of your deck
We use plastics all the time! Being a single mom, anything time-saving is a blessing. And with a bunch of high school friends comin n going all the time…well you know what I mean. From pizza parties to just hanging out, we use plastic plates, cups, silverware, bowls, water bottles….so nothing gets broken or has to be washed!
I Love Plastics , no breakage of glass and no washing dishes !
I recycle constantly, i use reusable bags for groceries, mason jars for drinks for the backyard party this year. most of the time we use cutting boards for lunch to save paper and plastic. i love my new tupperware drink bottle, with the remobable bottom for keys, money or ??. .plastic containers for leftovers and bins for storage. plastic has become a big part of everyone’s lives
i always use plastic because i can recycle it
Plastic is so much easier to clean. I spend less time running the dishwasher or washing dishes!
I love using Plastic for all get togethers for the easy clean up, but also because i love color and weahter its the holidays or a backyard BBQ you can add color and convience to any gathering, also with a family of 6 we use plastic alot ! so we cut down on all the dishes we dirty
I like to use plastic reusable storage containers and plastic serving utensils to take salads or other items to a get together, that way I can leave them with the hostess without having to worry about getting a dish or utensils back.
Ahhh…plastics are wonderful for organizing any room in the house or car small plastic boxes in the kitchen junk drawers keep all those loose things together. One for change one for pencils and pens. The loose tools and batteries.Life is much neater.I can also send plastic spoons, forks, and knives with my son and husband to work in their lunches without worrying about lost silverware.I could go on and on.
During the summer, I am constantly cooking out with family and friends. I typically tend to cook way more than what we will eat. I have an enormous amount of plastic containers that we use for all this left over food. If it wasn’t for these plastic containers we would most definitely waste a lot of food.
Spoons are the best for mini-catapults. Peas, m&ms, globs of potato salad
I like using plastic because we cook out a lot and some of the plastic silverware and cups can be reused and those that can’t I recycle.
We love summer in this house as it lets us get out of the house and breathe in the fresh air!! The kids love to make homemade ice pops and we use a plastic form mold that holds up well in the freezer! We also use plastic to haul around all our summer towels and swimsuits, and water toys and keep it in the back of our vehicle in case the kids find a good swimming hole!! We use plastic baggies to keep our food fresh, plastic coolers to keep our food cold and plastic water bottles to fill it full!! We know how to do summer and plastic just right!
We rather use reuseable plastic containers, silverware and cups when eating outdoors. Much safer than using items made of glass.
Plastic ware is AWESOME! Never have to worry about broken glass with th little one.
Plastic is fantastic!!!!
Plastic reusable containers are great to store leftovers
I have 6 kids so plastic is always best. They are colorful and fun to use. Storing is easy and safe especially when you have little ones running aorund, never know when they might bump into you.
In summer we like to go to mountians or the beach. we use plastic water bottles that we have frozen to put in cooler to keep food cold. By the time they have all started to thaw we are on our way home and the cold drinks are so refreshing. Plastic bags to put wet stuff in or keep our cloths dry depending on what activeity we are doing. plastic cooler to keep food cold and safe. Plastic containers to keep food safe and dry so animals don’t get into it. we also like to make plastic goodie bags for the kids to take in the car so they don’t fight about who has what and how much. if we camp out the plastic flooring of the tent keeps us safe and dry from the damp. Be it forks, spoons, bags, coolers,or plastic bottles to hold drinks. Plastic just makes my life so much easyer to deal with. and makes clean up a breeze.Teri

Plastic is more convenient for our needs.
I love hosting outdoor parties in the summer and, you guessed it, plastic makes it possible for us to have a gorgeous table without fear of glass breaking. My absolute favorite item is our plastic stemless white and red wine glasses. I use them almost every day!
We live in an RV – full time. Like many others who live this enjoyable experience, we are always shopping for plastic that looks so much like glass you have to tap it to make sure it’s not glass! How much fun it is to discover an elegant plastic piece you would never have imagined to be plastic….and they are everywhere…. as well as affordable. Why should entertaining not be as beautiful….not just for leftovers anymore! What a compliment when someone picks up a plate or drinking vessel and discovers it’s not glass! We love that designers have picked up on the versatility of plastic for entertaining first class.
I love entertaining with Melamine dishes. Relatively inexpensive (compared to glass) which means you can afford to buy double the product to mix and match patterns with solids.

I love setting out plastic cups and a plastic water dispenser in the summer, so the kids can help themselves!
Plastic is SO convenient. In my neighborhood, we recycle plastic, so I use it all the time!!
We love to use reusable dinnerware and easy-to-clean plastic prep tools in all of our Summertime outdoor entertaining. We especially love to use these items we attend outdoor/camping Summer Music Festivals and family weekend camp adventures as it allows us to leave “no-carbon footprints” behind and saves us money! We also pack our food items in reusable bags and/or containers in our coolers etc. so that we are not adding waste to the land fills and hurting the beautiful outdoor environment that we love so much. From tablecothes to silverwear, you can use almost all plastic items for your next outdoor picnic or BBQ. They will last the whole day long and then you have the easiest cleanup ever. Consider plastic for your next outdoor event. You won’t go wrong, then if you have any leftovers, yeah right, you can store them all in your plastic containers.
I love using plastics for everything! it makes for a quick clean up!
My husband and I have 7 kids, 13 grandkids and 1 more on the way. We love to have big family get to gethers. Plastic just makes everything better because we that many grandkids someone is always jumping up to do something! It always looks great when we set the table.
BABY…I served pasta once on a SILVER PLATTER…that puppy clanged to the floor….THEN SUGAR…I USED THE GLASS BOWL…..I was taken for a fool…..stuff was scattered all around the pool…when I used the plastic….all the friends were laughin….they would spill some…and them get them SOME MORE…..NOW I DONT USE NOTHING BUT PLASTIC ANYMORE
I love plastic plates, cups and partyware. They clean easy, are reusable and come in awesome party colors. Plastic is recyclable, reusable and comes in a wide range of colors. I can not imagine having a party with out them.
Plastics help make my Summer Entertaining more easier by making my clean-up effortless. I love to use Plastic table cloths and serving utencils for hassle free entertaining…Thanks for being my wingman Plastic. :)
Plastic is much easier with the clean up. Especially if you put the grandkids on the deck. Then you don’t have the floor to clean up either. And they love to eat outside with the kitty.
Plastic is a must at our house during the summer. With 3 kids and many friends I would not get out of the kitchen with out using it. I just set out the plates and cups and have no worries.

I try to recycle, reuse, and reduce to make life better for all.
Well, that’s easy! Several years ago we switched to plastics for all our outdoor entertaining, which is focused primarily on our large second-story deck. This means not only melamine-type (phenolic?) serving platters, bowls, and dishware, but also tableware, cups and goblets. A couple of runs through the dishwasher after everyone leaves and we’re all set for the next soiree! The most important tip to our family’s way of thinking is to remember that RE-USE is the noblest form of recycling.
Plastic makes organizing my summer fun. You can put all your tableware in one to keep them together and make them easy to carry to your party area. You can also prepare your food take with you and not worry about it spilling on everything. Great for ice, condiments, buns, whatever. Uou can even use plastic to make a centerpiece that is quick and easy.
Plastic makes summer entertaining something I want to do.

Plastic doesn’t shatter!
i love using plastic and recycled things due to it does not hurt the enviroment and because they are so conviently reusable… just love them… wish there was a way to cook with them on the sstove… lol lol
I have to say it’s plastic forks, knives, and spoons. ANd of course, those cups with built in straws and a screw on lid…..we not only use these outside, but INSIDE as well. Saves having to wash silverware, which is my roommate’s pet peeve….(sssshhh….don’t tell her I told you that!)…It’s not expensive, and so convenient to occasionally grab a plastic plate, cup and utensils and toss it out and not have dishes to wash or even to place in the dishwasher. It’s ALMOST like having a day off!
WE ALWAYS USE PLASTIC IN OUR EVERYDAY USE. BUT WE HAVE A HUGE OUTDOOR EVENT COMING UP AUG.6TH . MY HUSBAND KEITH AND A FRIEND OF OURS IS TURNING 50, SO WE ARE IN NEED OF LOTS PLASTIC 4 THAT DAY.
The plastic tableware today is so attractive. The kids love them, and they are safe and lightweight.
One way plastics help make my summer entertaining easy and fun is keeping plastic plates, glasses and utensils in a bag in my trunk, ready for an impromptu picnic whenever the mood hits and a place looks inviting.
I love the casualness of plastic when you are outdoors on the patio and it is usually so colorful and fun for the outdoor setting.
I love to use the silverware, cups, and dishes as it is easy to clean up just toss away. More time to spend with family and friends and nothing to get broken. You can also save the items and wash and reuse and great for environment
I lkie plastic because it makes for faster easier cleanups when we have large crowd.
I like to be able to reuse the plastic. It doesn’t break. It’s durable. It’s colorful, so you don’t have to guess which cup/plate is yours. Leftovers last until we eat it. Plastic is the best!
Plastic makes summer fun…FUN
I use milk jugs for cold water in the fridge!!!
Simply put Plastic does not shatter, break or cause issues, I love the fact that plastic has gotten so elegant. Recently had BBQ with wine and used Clear Plastic wine glasses to drink from out by the pool and the guests were worried because we had glass by the pool.. quickly found out it was plastic and I could of sold a ton …. Great time and great products. Love it. I also love that most of hte plastic now that I purchase is 50 to 90 percent recycled. love that Reuse Reduce and recycle my footprint on earth is getting smaller and smaller each day
plastics make my life so much easier.I can color coordinate ,mix and match. then toss and not have to worry about any strenuous cleanups.
For me plastic is a life saver as a busy mom of 4 we are always on the so i can take and send meals on the go, far more safer with children than glass cups and porcelain plates easy to rinse and reuse. and because we love the enviroment along with recycling we will also find it a second life like flower containers and so much more.
USING PLASTIC IS GOOD THING LEAVING NOTHING REALLY TO CLEAN UP…AN RECYCLED ITEMS ARE FUN TO USE ALSO..THERE GOOD TO USE WHOEVER CAME UP WITH DAT IDEA WAS GREAT ONE…
I reuse the plastic containers I get deli meats in. There great when one of my kids of friends take home left overs I don’t worry about getting the container bback

I love plastics since I have 2 young grandchildren. It’s easier for storing everything in after using it to fix things in to begin with. My daughter-in-law and I use for everything. I also use for lunch so my sandwich doesn’t get crushed. I like a plastic coffee cup with lid better than a metal one. The grandkids have plastic containers with lids in my toy box to put things in, hide things, and shake’em up. I have more plastic made things in my home than anything else.
I use plastic everywhere, but especially in my sunroom and outdoors because they are so durable. I have even repainted my plastic pots with a tuscany style. Keeps everything clean, bright and neat.
Plastic is great, if you drop it it will not break, you can wash it to reuse or throw it away it does not cost alot of money.
Plastic definitely makes entertaining easier. I like to set up a drink station using my plastic beverage dispensers, plastic cups, plastic straws and of course I even have plastic stir sticks and reusable plastic ice cubes! (Keeps your drinks from watering down) I can’t even imagine throwing a party without my plastic ware!!
No glass containers allowed on the beach – no problem!! Plastics make summer fun quick, easy and economical. Our favorite summer picnic ‘basket’ is a large plastic bin with a lid. We fill it with plastic cups, plates and cutlery and lots of our favorite foods and snacks in plastic, re-useable containers. Then we head to the shore where we park our rumps in colorful plastic beach chairs to enjoy our feast!! Clean up is quick and easy too – all trash goes into a large plastic trash bag when we’re finished! Where ever you find summer fun, you’re sure to find plastic!! (Heck, we even use ‘plastic’ to purchase everything we need!! ;)
We always use plastic drinking cups and glasses, because we do not allow glass in the boat, on the deck, or at the pool!
I love using our plastic dinnerware for picnics. It’s durable, versatile, lightweight, and fun to mix and match the colors and patterns!
We used plastics all summer, to take drinks and snacks to the river for the river front concerts. I always use and reuse all our plastics and try to come up with other uses for them when we are done with them. Plastics make my life easier.
If you are taking deviled eggs get a plastic container that is for this dish. They will look pretty & stay where they are suppose to stay & not slide around.
Love using plastic utensils, plates and cups saves me having to wash after my bbqs.
Being frugal and trying to conserve energy I love pasticware. It’s reusable and I don’t have to run my dishwasher. Saves energy and water. Plus it doesn’t heat up the house in the summer.
If you use plastic at an outdoor gathering you don’t have to worry as much about breakage.
I love being able to use plastics when we are celebrating outside for many reasons. I don’t have to worry about priceless family heirlooms being damaged or misplaced. Many items made of plastic can be re-used or recycled and containers also have re-sealable lids to store any leftovers. Plastics have become a huge part of our family life whether we are indoors or outdoors. I’m not sure how we would be able to function without them!
We make the most of any outdoor celebration using plastic cooking, baking and entertaining tools, we love the new colors and the durability of the plastics. We can color match for the children if they choose to do so and there is no confusion as to whose plate/glass is theirs. We also love that we can recycle after use.
We make the most of any outdoor celebration using plastic cooking, baking and entertaining tools by taking them everywhere we go! They accompany us to the park, lake, backyard entertaining and camping among other fun events. We love the versatility, durability and stability of the new plastics. We also love the new colors available to us consumers. We can color match for the children if they choose to do so and there is no confusion as to own what plate or glass. We also love the fact that we can recycle after use and be environmentally kind.

I want to win the outdoor party for my disabled awesome…veteran…husband & family & friends!!! He deserves this because he is so-o-o loveable & never complains…& THE MOST LOVING & GIVING & KIND PERSON WE KNOW!!!
Plastic is the only way to go in outdoor entertaining. Yes there is washing up to do but there is very little trash. Plastic holds up, look good and is better vaue for money.
